Questions
The photo is only used to generate your invitations and is deleted from our servers as soon as we deliver them. It's automatic and you get a message confirming it. We don't share it or use it for anything else.
You get 4 different versions precisely so there's always one you'll love. If something's off, email us at hello@dearyou.ai and we'll fix it. Don't worry — you'll have truly unique invitations.
Yes. As soon as you upload the photo and pick a universe, the assistant generates them right away. Usually it takes about 10 minutes; at peak times, up to 15.
All 4 invitations (image + party details) are perfect for your phone, WhatsApp, and social. If you also want the image in top quality to print big or frame, you can add the 4K version for +£1.99 in the chat. The 4K version is your little one's image at maximum resolution (without the event text).
Inside the chat a button opens a secure Stripe screen. You pay by card and, when you return, the assistant continues with your order. We never see your card details.
Not yet, pets are coming very soon. Right now we make invitations and birthday cards for kids.
Nothing. Everything happens right here, chatting with the assistant. No apps, no accounts, no wasted time.
A fancy dress party has a logistics problem none of the other themes have: you have to tell people. And you have to tell them early, because the parent who finds out the night before sends their child in a bedsheet and an apology.
These fancy dress Halloween birthday invitations solve that from the picture. You see the child in fancy dress, as a fairy, a wizard or a little dragon, and the message arrives before anyone reads a word. Six designs here, then four of your own with the name, the age and the warning built in.
The trick is in the wording. Fancy dress compulsory reads like a test. Fancy dress optional gets you half a room in costume and the other half feeling out of place.
What works: come as whatever you'd most like to be. It makes clear a costume is expected, obliges nobody, and gives an idea to the child who hasn't got one yet.
And send it three weeks out, not two. Costumes get bought or made, and both take time — especially if half term falls in the middle.
The forest fairy is the sweetest, all fireflies and glitter wings, and a good fit for the little ones. The street sorcerer lifting cars into the air is the most spectacular, and the one that works best from ten up, when cute stops cutting it.
The wizard in the spell library is the classic costume: cape, pointed hat, a stack of spellbooks. The mummy at the museum is for the child who'd rather discover a mummy than be one, so she goes as an explorer. The little dragon in the gem cave is the most adventurous. And the zombie at the party, between the bunting and the pumpkins, looks the most like the actual day.
They're ideas for anyone who doesn't know where to start. You describe yours in one sentence, with whatever costume your child is wearing.
