Questions
The photo is only used to generate your invitations and is deleted from our servers as soon as we deliver them. It's automatic and you get a message confirming it. We don't share it or use it for anything else.
You get 4 different versions precisely so there's always one you'll love. If something's off, email us at hello@dearyou.ai and we'll fix it. Don't worry — you'll have truly unique invitations.
Yes. As soon as you upload the photo and pick a universe, the assistant generates them right away. Usually it takes about 10 minutes; at peak times, up to 15.
All 4 invitations (image + party details) are perfect for your phone, WhatsApp, and social. If you also want the image in top quality to print big or frame, you can add the 4K version for +£1.99 in the chat. The 4K version is your little one's image at maximum resolution (without the event text).
Inside the chat a button opens a secure Stripe screen. You pay by card and, when you return, the assistant continues with your order. We never see your card details.
Not yet, pets are coming very soon. Right now we make invitations and birthday cards for kids.
Nothing. Everything happens right here, chatting with the assistant. No apps, no accounts, no wasted time.
The sleepover request usually turns up in autumn, with a guest list longer than your sitting room floor.
These sleepover Halloween birthday invitations are made for that night in: a den of blankets, torches, pyjamas, a film and a pumpkin somewhere. Your child is in the middle of every scene with their own face, which is why we ask for a photo. And we always delete the photo after delivery. Promise.
October half term takes care of the worst bit. Nobody has school the next day, so nobody's mum is texting at eight wanting to know when they'll be back.
The guest list is the harder conversation. Work out how many sleeping bags fit between the sofa and the telly, then invite one fewer. In most houses that comes to four.
Children tend to manage a whole night away at around eight. With a six or seven-year-old, there's a fair chance of a phone call at half eleven, and that's fine if you've planned for it. A pyjama party that finishes at ten works well at that age, and so does a pyjama breakfast the morning after. The midnight feast still happens. It just happens at nine.
The blanket fort with pumpkin torches is the den every eight-year-old builds anyway, so you might as well put it on the invitation. A pillow fight with paper bats suits the lot who won't be settling down before midnight.
Torchlight stories under the sheet are for ten-year-olds, who adore a ghost story provided it's obviously invented. The film marathon with popcorn is mostly about staying awake, which at eleven is the whole plan. Sleeping bags in a row by the moonlit window is the calm option, lovely for younger guests. And a pumpkin pancake breakfast in pyjamas is the morning after, and the easiest version for a six-year-old.
Think of them as starting points. Tell us about your night in your own words and we'll build the scene around your child.
